Connect your catalog with read-only access
Connect Square through the account's store setup. RecallDash reads supported product details and keeps its copy of the catalog in sync. It does not change your Square products, stock quantities or sales. You remain responsible for any change at the register or on the shelf.
Have products outside Square? Where CSV upload is available in your dashboard, a file gives RecallDash a catalog snapshot to check. Upload a fresh file when those products change; a file upload is not a live connection to another POS.
Turn recall notices into a product review queue
RecallDash checks the catalog against FDA food and drug, USDA FSIS, CPSC and supported NHTSA equipment recall data. Checks run daily and when the catalog or feeds change. A potential match opens with the product, matching evidence and original notice so you can compare the details.
After a completed scan finds an email-eligible recalled match, alerts are scheduled after a 15-minute batching window. Ongoing scans or delivery problems can delay sending. Possible matches stay in the dashboard for review and do not trigger email by themselves. If review before sending is required, email is held until an authorized reviewer releases it.
Finish with a shelf check and a record
Compare the notice's brand, variant, model, lot or date with the physical product at each relevant location. Confirm or dismiss the match in the dashboard, and record when you have checked the shelf. Any removal from sale is an action you take in your store.
The dashboard shows scan and source status, and the audit view lets you download a CSV or print the available record. These records document the review; they do not establish complete recall coverage.
